Daniel saw what was missing in the canvassing space — a tool that was actually fun to use, simple to get started with, and freely available to any campaign that needed it. For nearly a decade, he held onto a clear vision: canvassing software should empower volunteers, not slow them down.
In 2021, he set out to build that tool. The result is Activate — a platform designed from the ground up for the school boards, city councils, and grassroots races that form the backbone of our democracy. No gatekeeping. No paywalls. Just show up and organize.
